Dubliner Andrew Maxwell is more than a stand up comedian - he’s an intrepid social commentator and political protagonist on a mission to liberate minds with the power of comedy. Andrew MaxwellDara O’Briain

Dara O’Briain has to be one of the busiest men in comedy. He started his career in television as a children’s presenter on RTÉ whilst performing his first stand-up gigs on the Irish comedy circuit. He quickly gained a reputation as a top stand-up comedian around the world and has performed sell-out shows across Europe, Asia, Australia, as well as in Dubai, Boston and New York. When not touring or televising, Dara can either be found fronting prominent awards ceremonies and corporate events, or devising more television projects with his company ‘Happy Endings’. John Moloney is a highly sought-after comic and musician who has delighted audiences far and wide for the past decade. John appears regularly at Jongleurs and has performed many times at the Edinburgh Festival, playing to sell-out audiences. Multi-award winning comedian, actor and writer Ricky Grover has an impressive list of TV & film credits and is a hugely popular and explosive act, on both the national and international comedy circuit. Born and bred in the East End of London, Ricky was an ex-champion boxer and hairdresser before taking the comedy scene by storm. Ricky is one of Britain’s top stand-up comedians, who headlines everywhere he plays, including Jongleurs and The Comedy Store. His alter ego ‘Bulla’ writes a monthly page in Front magazine. Andrew MaxwellPaul Zerdin

Paul made his TV debut as a magician on BBC’s Tricky Business. However, within 6 months he appeared as a ventriloquist on Hanger 17 and shortly after that landed a two-year contract presenting the GMTV kids` programme Rise and Shine with his With his irresistible characters Sam, Albert and the Baby. Paul has worked on many TV commercials including Kellogg’s, Persil and Honda and was involved as a puppeteer in the film Muppet Treasure Island for the Jim Henson Company and was also the ventriloquial adviser to Anthony Sher in the BBC Film Genghis Cohn. Paul can be seen regularly at Jongleurs Comedy Clubs and with his unique style of comedy and its mass appeal Paul has become much sought after in the corporate and after dinner market all over the world. Andrew MaxwellJim Tavaré

Jim Tavaré is often described transcending mainstream and alternative comedy and is a modern day Tommy Cooper. He was the star of the BAFTA award winning ‘The Sketch Show’ and has had several of his own series on BBC and Channel 5. Best known for his double act with his double bass and her slightly smaller cousin the recorder. Jim has also appeared at three Royal Variety performances as well as becoming Prince Charles’ comedian of choice, performing at his private Christmas Party. Jim narrowly missed out on being a member of Manchester band ‘Joy Divisio’n and ‘New Order’. He appears in the ‘Harry Potter’ films as Tom, the surly inn-keeper of The Leaky Cauldron. Adam Bloom has performed sell-out solo shows at the Edinburgh Festivals for over ten years. He has delighted audiences in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington & Cape Town as well as making three visits to ‘Just For Laughs’ in Montreal. In 2004, Adam was part of the ‘Just For Laughs Comedy Tour’, playing to 42,000 people in 17 cities across Canada. He has also written three series of ‘The Problem with Adam Bloom’ for BBC Radio 4. Scottish comedian and impressionist, Geoff Boyz made his solo debut at the Edinburgh festival in 1996. He has appeared in various TV panel games and stand-up shows and also acts as a studio audience warm-up man. Geoff continues to be in demand on the corporate circuit and last year performed at the Scottish Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
